Trunk has announced that it will be opening Trunk(Hotel) Sapporo in the spring of 2027. Part of the Sapporo Daibiru redevelopment project, led by Daibiru Corporation, the new hotel will mark the brand’s fifth location. 

The new Trunk(Hotel) will be located in the Odori area of central Sapporo in Japan. It will comprise approximately 100 guestrooms; an airy, open café and bar/lounge in its atrium; a spa; speciality restaurant showcasing local Hokkaido ingredients; and a theatre, chapel, boardroom and banquet rooms. 

The Sapporo Daibiru redevelopment project is being conducted by Daibiru Corporation, which has acquired Pivot, a shopping centre long familiar to Sapporo locals. The project will see a mixed-use building come to life, combining office space, retail stores and Trunk(Hotel) Sapporo, which will span across floors ten to eighteen of the development.
