The Other House announces second London outpost
The Other House has revealed that it will be opening its second property in London, slated to land in Q4 2024 in Covent Garden. The announcement comes following the opening of the brand’s first property in July 2022 in South Kensington.
Located in Covent Garden’s Wellington Block, The Other House Covent Garden will offer apartment-style living with the brands signature ‘Club Flats’. Public areas will comprise a bar and rooftop terrace, Owl & Monkey; all day brasserie, The Other Kitchen; and a range of event spaces. The club will also offer private dining rooms and lounges, as well as a an array of wellness spaces including a subterranean pool, treatment areas with OM sound baths and a gym.
The site chosen for the brand’s latest endeavour consists of seven separate buildings, including a former rectory, with further plans to create a four-storey internal glazed atrium and an additional three-floor extension. The first look at interiors shared by the brand reveals spaces characterised by a bold use of colour, layered textual fabrics and materials, botanical prints and art deco-inspired wall coverings.
“We are delighted to finally be underway working on our location for The Other House’s second Residents Club,” says Naomi Heaton, founder and CEO of The Other House. “Our Covent Garden site embodies everything we want to achieve – sensitively restoring a historic space in prime central London and transforming it into something that truly caters for the modern, global traveller and the local community. It’s thrilling to share a first glimpse of what’s to come.”
