First Look: Art’otel Zagreb
The art’otel brand is set to land in Croatia with the opening of art’otel Zagreb in October 2023.
The hotel’s artistic concept, designed by interior design studio Digital Space, features original art by art’otel Signature Artist, Boris Bućan. art’otel Zagreb will pay homage to the late painter and graphic designer, providing a canvas through which guests can connect with the artist’s legacy. Bućan’s signature bold and colourful style will be showcased through the hotel’s 110 rooms, food, beverage and wellness spaces.
Located in the heart of the city centre – within the Jewish Liturgical Municipality building brought to life by architects Freudenreich & Deutsch in 1928 – the property is a striking example of Zagreb’s Art Déco architecture.
Multiple food and beverage options will be on offer, including pan-Asian cuisine at Yezi restaurant, while a rooftop bar is expected to open in spring 2024.
A spa will be complete with an indoor pool, two saunas and a Technogym-equipped fitness centre, while four Creative Rooms on the hotel’s top floor will provide professional meeting space, with the largest able to host 20 people boardroom-style.
The opening of art’otel Zagreb will be followed by both art’otel London Hoxton and art’otel Rome in 2024.
