Following the opening of Crosby Street Hotel in downtown SoHo and The Whitby Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, Firmdale Hotels is set to launch Warren Street Hotel in New York‘s Tribeca district in September 2023.
As with Crosby Street, the Warren Street site was previously a car park and has been built from the ground up. The property will be a celebration of contemporary art and design with interiors by Kit Kemp Design Studio.
Inside will be 57 individually designed guestrooms and suites along with 12 exclusive residences over 11 floors, each with floor-to-ceiling windows, some with a private terrace and skyscraper views including One World Trade Center and the Hudson River. There is also an inviting drawing room, Orangery and the 150-seat Warren Bar & Restaurant, which will be open all day to locals and hotel guests.
At the heart of Lower Manhattan, Tribeca is in close proximity to the Financial District, Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown. The neighbourhood is characterised by cobblestone streets, art galleries, independent boutiques and restaurants. Close to the hotel is Brookfield Place for shopping and lunch on the water, The Oculus, One World Trade Observatory and the new Performing Arts Theatre, which is also due to arrive in September 2023.
