Red Sea Global (RSG) has announced that it will partner with Equinox Hotels to open Equinox Resort Amaala at its Red Sea development. 

The latest hotel to be announced for RSG’s Amaala, the 128-key property will operate with a focus on wellness, offering a magnesium salt rooftop pool, spa, beach club and a signature Equinox Fitness Club, alongside several culinary venues and two luxury penthouses. 

Designed by Foster + Partners, the new resort has been created to ensure complete connectivity to the surrounding development, with guestrooms planned to capture panoramic views of Hijaz Cove, or of the marina and its promenade. 

The hotel’s porte cochère and its distinctive floating canopy will welcome guests in, while the hotel itself features four open courtyards, which take inspiration from traditional local architectural styles. The shaded courtyards, complete with water features, will work to naturally cool the spaces, allowing guests to comfortably enjoy the resort, even in the warmer months. 

The hotel’s location provides direct access to Amaala Marina Village, also designed by Foster + Partners, which will comprise a collection of hotels, villas and condominiums, all set in a lively retail precinct.
