Epoque Collection to debut in Santorini
Epoque Collection, a new luxury operator established by entrepreneur Dimos Stasinopoulos, is set to open a private island resort in Santorini this Spring, as well as a Neoclassical hotel and a mansion house in Athens.
Perched on a secluded hilltop, Omma Santorini will become Epoque Collection’s debut property when it opens in May 2021, following a soft launch in 2019. The boutique comprises 25 rooms and suites, together with five villas – set within 1.23 acres of landscape – featuring private pools and views of the Caldera and Aegean Sea.
A double-level infinity pool at the heart of the development will be one of the largest on the island, while a restaurant is to be helmed by Dimitris Stamoudis, and a spa will offer products from skincare brand Elemis.
The second hotel in the group’s pipeline is Kefalari Suites, a quintessential 19th century Athenian mansion that has been transformed into a series of guesthouse suites. Situated in the city’s Kifissia neighbourhood, just a 10-minute drive from the Maroussi business district and 40 minutes from the centre of Athens, the property will comprise 13 accommodations, two restaurants, and private club services for business travellers.
Epoque Collection also has plans to join forces with a well-known restaurant brand to bring a gastronomic hotel experience to Athens’ city centre in May, with more details expected to be announced next month.
