DoubleTree by Hilton M Square Hotel & Residences has opened its doors in Dubai.
Situated next to Burjuman Shopping Mall and a metro station, the property boasts the view of Dubai’s ‘big five’, namely the iconic Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Frame, The Museum of the Future, Dubai Eye and the Burj Al Arab.
The 23-story hotel features 327 uniquely styled guest rooms and suites as well as 131 serviced residences for short, extended-stays and serviced-living options.
The ‘Industrial Chic’ contemporary design is encapsulated in a mural commissioned by London-based Giles Miller Studio, which pays tribute to Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Spanning over 15 metres and comprising more than 29,000 reflective disks, the piece required three weeks of assembly to fit all of the disks to a specially engineered backing structure.
As a new dining destination in the city, the hotel houses three distinct dining outlets: Larte Italian restaurant; The Spice Tree offering Indian urban fusion cuisine; and the SunGlo Rooftop Lounge, featuring 360-degree views of the Dubai skyline.
Meanwhile, the project also includes six meeting rooms and a grand ballroom, an executive lounge, three outdoor swimming pools, a fully-equipped fitness centre and spa treatment rooms.
Jochem-Jan Sleiffer, President for Middle East, Africa and Turkey at Hilton, says: “We are delighted to have opened the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel & Residences on UAE National Day, paying homage to the great leadership of the UAE and to Dubai, one of the world’s leading tourism and business destinations.
Sleiffer continues: “This property will no doubt be a landmark in the heart of the city, bridging history with modernity and providing travellers with a memorable DoubleTree by Hilton experience. We thank AW Rostamani Group for their invaluable partnership and the hotel’s team members for their extraordinary work bringing the warm DoubleTree by Hilton spirit to life in this remarkable new property.”
“Congratulations to our team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel & Residences who have worked tirelessly to ensure guests receive a warm welcome,” comments Serpil Guney, General Manager. “We look forward to offering guests privacy and the comfort of home through our spacious rooms and suites and top-of-the-line facilities, as well as the unique opportunity to experience this city’s past, present and future through our central location and spectacular views of the Dubai skyline.”
