Dream Hotel Group signs resort in Saint Lucia
Dream Hotel Group has announced plans to bring its luxury lifestyle hospitality to the Eastern Caribbean island of Saint Lucia next year with the opening of Cas en Bas Beach Resort by Dream Hotel Group.
The latest signing with Edward Wellington, CEO of UK-based resort development company Wellington Estates, marks the group’s first location in Saint Lucia and second By Dream Hotel Group branded property in the Caribbean, following The Bight by Dream Hotel Group in Turks and Caicos. Previously announced By Dream Hotel Group projects also include Emma & Elissa in Playa del Carmen in Mexico, and the company plans to announce future locations in new and emerging destinations worldwide in the coming months.
“Edward Wellington is the perfect partner to bring our vision of hospitality to life in the beautiful island of Saint Lucia,” says Dream Hotel Group CEO Jay Stein. “It’s an honour to collaborate with likeminded innovators who share our passion for creating new, fresh and authentic hospitality experiences. We look forward to introducing our new By Dream Hotel Group hospitality to guests and locals alike in 2023.”
Wellington comments: “We are delighted to enhance this wonderful island’s tourism in partnership Dream Hotel Group. Our objective is to create a truly world-class, professionally managed resort that offers the finest levels of contemporary island living, and Dream Hotel Group shares in that same ambition.”
Cas en Bas Beach Resort by Dream Hotel Group comprises two contemporary low-rise buildings and features multiple F&B venues, including the Ice Bar and a restaurant with a large, elevated terrace overlooking the pool – one of the longest in Saint Lucia. The layout of the resort complex has been thoughtfully planned to follow the path of the sun, which passes over the pool through the day, while shielding accommodations from excessive direct sunlight. A mix of sunny and shaded public areas, private terraces and four-poster sunbeds are provided for those seeking to sunbath or chill, poolside or on the resort’s white sandy Cabana Beach.
Leisure amenities also include a champagne terrace and rooftop bar, signature restaurant, poolside dining, spa treatments, and a beach bar and grill on the beach. The resort also offers a tapas-style wine bar, grab-and-go café, sports bar and business centre, as well as a wellness centre and gym exclusively for guests.
The boutique condo-resort will feature 90 luxury accommodations, all with spacious bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, expansive living areas and kitchens with premium finishes. Each unit benefits from full-height sliding doors that maximise the natural light and open onto private balconies. Dedicated concierges will be on hand for day-to-day requirements before, during and after a stay, including a pre-arrival delivery service.
The announcement signals another milestone in the growth and evolution of Dream Hotel Group and its portfolio of lifestyle brands. With 15 properties open today and another 25 locations in development across the globe, the company remains one of the fastest growing independent lifestyle groups in the world.
