DoubleTree opens in Poland
DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the opening of a new property in Wroclaw, in the OVO Wroclaw complex.
Located in 2016’s European Capital of Culture, the landmark edifice spearheads a revolution in urban Polish design and boasts 189 guestrooms and suites, including a Presidential suite with views of Slowacki Park. The six-storey property is placed in Wroclaw’s town centre on Podwale Street, nearby to the Main Square.
Envisioned by GSARCH-Gottesman Szmelcman, the property’s rounded exterior seamlessly blends curved lines with a stylish minimalism that typifies the interior spaces.

The hotel features the atmospheric OVO bar and restaurant, which offers a live cooking station and dishes built for sharing, with a DJ as the evening progresses. Elsewhere, a relaxed courtyard is also open to Wroclaw’s local residents, from breakfast until late.
Seven flexible function rooms are available to hold a casual business meeting, briefing or training session, while the visually striking hotel also offers a 317m2 ballroom with a height of up to 5.5m, divisible into three smaller areas. The hotel’s modern casino will open later this year.
