DoubleTree by Hilton to enter Osaka in 2024
Hilton has unveiled plans to debut the DoubleTree by Hilton brand in Osaka in 2024.
Located near the almost 450-year-old Osaka Castle, the 377-room new-build hotel will offer well-appointed rooms and facilities including an indoor pool, a fitness centre, meeting facilities and an executive lounge. Guests will also have a selection of dining options from the hotel’s all-day dining Grab & Go to a lobby lounge and bar.
“With its strategic location and signature Hilton hospitality, DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle will be ideally suited to serve business and leisure demand in the market,” says Guy Phillips, Senior Vice President of Development in Asia and Australasia. “When Osaka hosts the World Expo which will see the city welcome delegates and participants from some 150 countries, I am confident the hotel will be top of mind for both domestic and business travellers.”
“Since its launch more than 50 years ago, DoubleTree by Hilton has become one of our fastest-growing brands across the globe. Today, the brand is a symbol of comfort for both business and leisure guests alike. We look forward to bringing DoubleTree by Hilton’s brand of hospitality to Osaka where guests will enjoy our renowned levels of hospitality in comfortable, contemporary accommodation and the convenient access to the cultural, dining and retail scenes in the city,” said Alexandra Jaritz, Senior Vice President of Hilton’s Brand Management in Asia Pacific.
“We look forward to a strong partnership with Hilton and working together to further develop the travel and tourism industry,” comments Keisuke Shimonishi, Director and Managing Executive Officer, Daiwa House Industry Co. “I have high expectations for DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle and I am confident that it will deliver great value and excellent customer satisfaction, while contributing to the invigoration of the Osaka Castle area.”
