Domes to widen European presence in 2023

Luxury lifestyle brand, Domes, has announced plans for several renovations across Europe in 2023, as well as an inaugural launch in Milos.

Domes White Coast Milos – currently branded as Small Luxury Hotels of the World – will be located in a waterfront nature preserve on the island’s northern coast. The 30-suite hotel will be inspired by the destination’s white rock formations, with interiors featuring subtle, neutral tones.

“We are immensely excited about our newfound collaboration with Invel Real Estate and Prodea Investments on this first of many more exciting projects to come in the Cyclades Greek Islands,” says Dr George P Spanos, CEO of Domes. “Our vision is to evolve this unique asset into the leading private-pool hotel in the Aegean, with the expansion occurring in two phases over the next two years and will reach the total number of 130 suites. This will enable us to strengthen our footprint in the Cyclades, and solidify our alliance with Invel and Prodea.”

The news follows the group’s recent expansion at Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Corfu. Designed by Kristina Zanic and architecturally styled by Makridis & Associates, the 7,000m² extension comprises 69 new guestrooms and suites, as well as a new spa, pool, gym, restaurant, and loft bar. The additions continue Domes Miramare’s Modernist and minimalist aesthetic in a contemporary style. Meanwhile, the site’s exterior has been reinvented with clean archways inspired by Corfu Old Town’s heritage buildings.

Moving across Europe to southern Portugal, Domes Lake Algarve is also undergoing renovations before joining Marriott’s Autograph Collection. Reopening this Spring, having spearheaded Domes’ growth outside of Greece last year, the hotel will embrace its natural surroundings, with guestrooms and communal spaces featuring fresh designs inspired by the hotel’s gardens and lake.

The brand will soon announce new openings in popular Greek destinations, including the peninsula of Halkidiki, Mykonos, Santorini, and the Athenian Riviera. Domes also has plans to expand further across Europe.
