Different Hotels presents YUP
Different Hotels is set to launch its brand new YUP Hotel concept in Hasselt, Belgium. The latest “unlike any other” budget hotel is located in the former ibis building, launching mid-July with a grand opening set to take place on 7 September 2015.
Meaning young urban professional, the YUP Hotel guest is a modern adventurer, looking for relaxation and fun. The comfort, service and style of a boutique hotel is combined with a more affordable yet innovative and modern stay.
The hotel is comprised of 59 YUP Cabins, consisting of a cleverly designed 12m² room. At its centre is the bed, which is a cocoon from where guests can watch a film, check emails, get to know YUP, stay in touch with world and maybe get some sleep.
Also in the cabin, free WiFi complements the multifunctional LCD screen, allowing interaction with the outside world, a rain shower, oversized mirror and exclusive “Yuppie” shower gel. The hotel’s ground floor features a Grab & Go, where guests can select from a number of different snacks, food and drink. The bar also feature a wine and cocktail list.
Most notably, guests can also choose their accompanying music. Either a mix put together by Versuz, a local Hasselt dance club, or select some records reminiscent of the 1980s, or ultimately, take place at the piano.
YUP is part of Different Hotels, which has 11 hotels across the Netherlands and Belgium, each of which has its own identity; they are independent and uniquely “different”.
