Corinthia gears up for Bucharest debut
Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest is set to open its doors in March 2025 in Romania’s vibrant capital, complete with designs by G.A Group and Romanian firm Architect Service.
Located at the intersection of Calea Victoriei and Elisabeta Boulevard, the all-suite hotel blends the historic grandeur of the Belle Epoque period with modern luxury. The property was inaugurated in 1873, standing at the time as the first hotel with electric lights and an elevator.
The hotel comprises 30 suites designed to blend classical elegance with modern conveniences, complete with bespoke furnishings and expansive windows.
A range of dining experiences are on offer – Boulevard 73 blends French and Romanian flavours in an opulent ballroom setting, SASS’ Restaurant & Lounge presents Mediterranean and international cuisine in a chic Baroque-style space with bold leopard print accents, while Heritage Bar features a signature cocktail menu inspired by Bucharest’s history, paired with an elegant afternoon tea service.
The property’s wellness facilities meanwhile include a boutique spa, signature thermal experiences and a fitness centre. The spa comprises two treatment rooms, a steam room, sauna, ice fountain, experience shower, tranquil relaxation lounge and a fully equipped gym.
