Como Hotels & Resorts to make French debut

Como Hotels & Resorts has revealed the newest addition to its portfolio, Como Le Montrachet, a luxury boutique hotel in one of France’s most prestigious wine regions. Situated in the Côte-d’Or, Como’s French debut is set to open in phases, with the first scheduled for 2022.

In partnership with OLMA Luxury Holdings, the project began with the acquisition of the renowned Hotel Le Montrachet. Nestled in the historic village of Puligny-Montrachet, the 18th Century property provides unparalleled access to the infamous Grand Cru vineyards.

Arranged across four converted heritage buildings housing 31 guestrooms and suites, Como Le Montrachet will offer wine-tasting experiences, new restaurant concepts and a Como Shambhala Retreat.

Following their collaboration with Paola Navone to design Como Castello del Nero in Tuscany, the group has once again appointed the designer to conceptualise their new project, which will be sensitively converted and complemented with contemporary touches.

This marks the group’s fourth European property, joining Como Castello del Nero in Tuscany, in addition to Como Metropolitan London and neighbouring Como The Halkin. The group also has 11 hotels in Australia, Bhutan, Indonesia, the Maldives, Thailand and Turks and Caicos.
