CitizenM has unveiled details of three hotels set to open in 2024 across the US. The openings will take its total number of hotels to 36 across Europe, North America and Asia.

Anticipated to open in early 2024 is the brand’s first hotel in Austin. Developed in partnership with Turnbridge Equities, the 17-storey tower will house a 344-room hotel, featuring CitizenM’s signature interior design by Amsterdam-based Concrete. Interiors will draw inspiration from the local community, with rooms filled with an eclectic mix of contemporary art and objects by local artists. CitizenM Austin Downtown will also feature a rooftop pool and bar area, with mural design by commissioned artist Poni (Hilda Palafox), plus an exterior art piece by Calhan Hale.

In the heart of the Back Bay neighbourhood, CitizenM’s second Boston hotel is set to open at the end of 2024. The hotel will be Boston’s first all-electric hotel, while interiors, also designed by Concrete, will draw inspiration from the surrounding city, showcasing an array of photography and found objects by Boston-based artists. The hotel will comprise 399 guestrooms plus a spacious living room, societyM meeting rooms and 24/7 canteenM. Guests can also enjoy a well-equipped gym with panoramic views of Newbury Street, and a rooftop bar and terrace with views of the Boston skyline.

Summer 2024 will see CitizenM’s third Miami hotel open in the heart of Miami’s South Beach area. A unique blend of modern design and local flavour, CitizenM Miami South Beach will boast a rooftop infinity pool and hidden bar surrounded by lush greenery and an outdoor terrace. The 168-key hotel promises to capture the energy of Miami with its bold design.

Following its 2024 openings, CitizenM is set to continue expansion with new developments in gateway cities across North America and Europe, including a debut hotel in Dublin, two new properties in London and a third hotel in Washington DC Georgetown.
