Castelfalfi completes new signature suites
Tuscan retreat Castelfalfi has unveiled its new Signature Suites, brought to life by Affine Design. As the final stage of its extensive renovation, the 146-room property has added four new Castelfalfi Signature Suites to its room inventory.
With layouts ranging from 63m² to 105m² and featuring panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside, the new suites include a bedroom, living room, a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom with a separate bathtub and floor shower. Living rooms also include a corner bar with custom ready-to-drink Castelfalfi cocktails.
Each suite also offers private gardens with views of the surrounding hills and vineyards, while outdoor spaces can be fully enveloped in curtain detailing for added privacy.
The suites have been designed by Affine Design to showcase a contemporary style alongside more traditional Tuscan materials and fabrics. Colours have been chosen to move with and compliment the seasons, ranging from terracotta and brown tones, to yellow and dark green elsewhere, creating a design concept that reflects the outdoors.
“Working with Affine Design was an obvious choice,” says Roberto Protezione, General Manager. “When we started contemplating the renovation of Castelfalfi, Affine’s concept and design stood out to us as it was completely in line with our vision of the future. We wanted our suites to provide an immersive experience, where guests could feel at one with nature, all the while being surrounded by a luxurious, refined and comfortable interior, resulting in an immediate at-home feeling. The collaborative works from Affine and other designers across the property demonstrate a tribute to Italian craftsmanship and have resulted in an all-encompassing transformation of Castelfalfi.”
Castelfalfi – owned by the Lohia Family – has undergone a wider multi-million pound renovation to elevate its facilities, unveiling new public spaces, guestrooms and suites, including brand new restaurant Olivina.
