Canonnier Beachcomber reopens
Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels, the hotel group with eight properties in Mauritius, has announced the reopening of Canonnier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa.
French interior designers Paule de Romeuf and Amélie Montocchio have worked on the property which features views over the northern islands and Indian Ocean, while the interiors were designed in-house by the Beachcomber team.
Guestrooms at Canonnier comprise environmentally friendly soft linen with the natural feel of rattan, wood and raffia that echoes the vegetation and gardens of the resort’s grounds, while new lighting reflects the brand’s desire to create harmony between the exterior and interior of the resort.
Additional features include a wellness centre built in the branches of a 100-year-old banyan tree, a treehouse spa with a sauna, hammam and fitness room, and a swimming pool featuring mosaic tiles to create a lagoon effect. Water and land sport facilities are also available, with a golf course located 700 metres away.
