Brime Robbins reveals design inspiration for Andaz Prague
Following the opening of Andaz Prague in April, Brime Robbins has released a behind the scenes video that reveals its key design inspirations for the hotel, including myths and legends from the country’s past.
In the exclusive series, design duo Maria Brime and Garrett Robbins open up about channelling their key ethos to make the global local, ensuring that each guest feels at home no matter where they trek, and that every project engenders a sense of place so that the outside world remains a part of the interior scheme.
Along the way, guests can expect to experience moments of awe as historic tales unfold in front of their eyes. They should also be prepared to take a moment to immerse themselves in the surroundings and enjoy getting to know medieval legend Bruncvik and his white lion as they emerge from the walls of the hotel corridors.
“To deliver a tailor-made project every time, we will never deliver a single aesthetic, or a one size fits all approach,” says Garrett. “We inject a bit of attitude and lifestyle into each design to make it unforgettable.”
Brime Robbins is an international design partnership with a passion for fusing local culture with world-class design. From the very core, the studio tells a compelling story through design, celebrating the “pauses” in the narrative, causing guests to stop, reflect and engage with details that connect on a personal level.
