Bowie House, Auberge Resorts Collection showcases Texan spirit in Forth Worth
Bowie House, Auberge Resorts Collection, a new hotel capturing Texas’ unique Western personality, is now accepting reservations. Designed by BOKA Powell to capture the vibrancy and equestrian spirit of Fort Worth, the new hotel celebrates past, present and future with owner Jo Ellard’s signature, art-savvy style.
BOKA Powell has opted for a union of time-honoured and contemporary design, combining brick and cast stone harking back to the days of cowboys with gravity-defying glass features, a verdant pool terrace and convivial gathering spaces.
Encapsulating the spirit of a classic Texas home, the resort’s 88 studios, 12 lofts and six suites are imbued with the warm spirit of the West. Several are accompanied by open-air balconies and all offer views over the Cultural District or the hotel’s courtyard gardens. The lofts feature lounge areas and bathrooms with striking green marble vanities and soaking tubs, while suites include dedicated sleeping, living and dining spaces.
Bowie House, Auberge Resorts Collection will offer a taste of modern Texan cuisine across its dining venues. Bricks and Horses, the hotel’s signature restaurant, is a contemporary chophouse specializing in dry-aged local beef. The venue opens up onto The Garden, the hotel’s nature-ensconced urban courtyard. Cocktails and a vast range of whiskeys and all-day bites are served up at The Bar at Bowie House, while the property’s tree-lined pool terrace is home to casual dining spot Whinny’s. The Billet Room is the hotel’s game room, an elegant social club, and the hotel also houses its own library, named The Mulberry Room.
“It’s with great excitement that we’ll soon welcome guests to Bowie House and bring our unique style of approachable luxury to this already vibrant city,” said Gaylord Lamy, General Manager of the hotel. “Fort Worth is a culturally rich gem with some of the best parks, gardens, museums, restaurants and entertainment in Texas, and we are excited to help open up this city to global travellers while providing a new and exciting home base for our beloved community.”
The hotel’s spa, Ash, is inspired by the great outdoors, comprising a pool deck, five treatment rooms, a sauna and steam room, a fitness centre, nail studio, boutique and relaxation lounge. Catering to events just as much as wellness, Bowie House, Auberge Resorts Collection includes over 10,000ft² of indoor and outdoor events space, with over seven distinct venues available for use.
