Booking app launches at Premier Inn tech hotel
Hub by Premier Inn has launched a booking app as part of its tech hotel concept.
Whitbread’s new brand has opened bookings for Covent Garden flagship hotel via an app, available on both iOS and Android devices.
Guests can use the app to check availability and book a room in minutes. On arrival, the app can be used to control various settings in individual guestrooms, such as changing the channel on the smart TV, or adjusting the room temperature and lights. The app also provides guests with a detailed local area guide, with places to go and things to do.

Hub by Premier Inn’s compact rooms include smart storage units, making the best possible use of space. The modern design creates an uncluttered environment for city travellers. Each room comes equipped with the latest technology, including a smart TV, giving guests access to movies, games, the internet, and catch-up TV, as well as free, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
The upcoming launch of the flagship hotel in November signals the start of an ambitious expansion plan. Hub by Premier Inn already has 11 new hotels planned over the next three years, throughout London and Edinburgh, totalling over 2000 rooms.
