Bellevigne Bourgogne opens in Burgundy with wine-inspired interiors
Bellevigne Bourgogne, the latest venture from Les Hôtels (Très) Particuliers, has opened its doors in Burgundy.
The new opening finds home on the Côte de Nuits vineyard, within a former manor house and its outbuildings. Interiors meanwhile have been transformed by Jordane Arrivetz, designed to embody the spirit of the location.
A communal kitchen resides at the centre of Bellevigne Bourgogne, with wine-inspired decor reflecting its spirit. Colours echo the hues of wine, and patterns mimic its flora, while stone typical of the area also makes an appearance throughout, as does furniture sourced at antique shops. Inside each space, custom carpentry highlights the books, artworks and objects curated by antique dealers.
To the right of the kitchen is a wine bar with access to a historic tasting cellar, while to the left is an oenophile library, and elsewhere, a private lounge adorned with a large fresco celebrating Burgundy.
37 guestrooms are available in three colour schemes, with decor drawing inspiration from a countryside spirit without resorting to pastiche. Unique architectural details from the existing building include beams and high ceilings, paired with fine woodwork, unique paintings, canopy beds and retro-style bathrooms.
