Barovier&Toso collaborates with Bvlgari
Continuing its established relationship with Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, Murano-based glassmaking specialist Barovier&Toso has designed the Spinn chandelier for the new Bvlgari Hotel Beijing.
As is the case at Bvlgari Ginza Tower in Tokyo, Barovier&Toso has provided custom design solutions, utilising the Spinn chandelier in three distinct areas: at the centre of the staircase leading to the ballroom, in the reception area of the Bvlgari Spa and in Il Ristorante Niko Romito – where cascades of Spinn elements featuring a golden colour to generate a captivating atmosphere.
Located in the Chaoyang district at the heart of the Chinese capital, Bvlgari Hotel Beijing has been designed by Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, whose style marries with the Murano glassware pieces to evoke refinement and elegance. The result of the expertise of master glassmakers, the Spinn chandeliers decorate the hotel’s spaces with patterns and shadows thanks to the “a balotòn” technique.
