Bach Suites Saigon opens doors by Turtle Lake

Bach Suites Saigon, an intimate 36-key boutique property close to Ho Chi Minh City’s Turtle Lake roundabout, has opened its doors. A member of Design Hotels, the project pays aesthetic homage to the country’s French colonial past and features an urban garden and a Vietnamese-French restaurant.

Set within a newbuild structure, the hotel’s white exterior and rounded corners are complemented by windows and balustrades defined by crisp black steel. Recalling the era from which it draws influence, interiors feature marble floors, panelled walls and handcrafted furniture, with accents of dark lacquers, brass, and leather punctuating the scheme throughout. Touches of blonde wood add texture to a predominantly monochrome palette, whilst the dining room seeks to reflect the ambience of an aristocratic past.

Ranging from 30-87m², 29 guestrooms and seven suites each feature king-size beds, a kitchenette, a shower, and views of the city. The two-bedroom suites incorporate two bathrooms and separate living and dining rooms, whilst an executive suite offers an additional walk in closet, vanity table and open air balcony.

The project is overseen by Madame Hoa – the former owner of Saigon’s La Taverne, an acclaimed French restaurant – in partnership with Truc Ngo.
