Avani to debut in North Africa
Avani Hotels & Resorts, the upscale brand by Minor Hotels, has announced a partnership with Groupe Chaabane to debut in North Africa.
Scheduled to open in the coming months, Avani Les Berges Du Lac Tunis Suites will be located in Les Berges du Lac II, a commercial, residential and diplomatic area in the Tunisian Capital. The 41-key property will offer serviced apartment accommodation ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. Additional features include an all-day dining restaurant, a health club with a gym, two spa treatment rooms, sauna and steam rooms, and an indoor swimming pool.
The brand’s second property, Avani Gammarth Tunis Resort & Spa, is currently in its design phase and is expected to open in 2021. Located 30 minutes from Tunis city centre, the coastal resort features 232 guestrooms and 18 private beach villas, alongside five food & beverage outlets including a destination beach club, meeting space with a 1,000m2 ballroom, a health club and Avani Spa, two swimming pools and a kid’s club.

Launched by Minor Hotels in 2011, Avani Hotels & Resorts currently has 18 operational properties in countries including Thailand, Malaysia, and the UAE, with the brand recently expanding into Europe following an opening in Lisbon.
