Avani reveals second Busan hotel

Avani Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a second property in South Korea, Avani Central Busan Hotel, situated in Busan’s city centre. Landing as part of a 37-storey twin-tower, mixed-use complex within the Munhyeon Finance Complex, the hotel will be joined by the wider structure’s offices, residences, mall, and theatre.

Incorporating signature living spaces, a sky restaurant and bar, and an all-day dining venue as well as an Avani spa, gym and pantry, both the 800m² event space and the hotel’s close proximity to the surrounding commercial district’s banks and government quarters make it a convenient option for business travellers.

“To have a second hotel in this major South Korean city is a thrill for us,” says Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels, the owning company of Avani Hotels & Resorts. “Avani Central Busan Hotel is located in a key area that continues to grow, drawing both business and leisure travellers into visiting Busan.”

Avani Central Busan Hotel joins the Avani Busan Hotel in the South Korean city, the latter of which was signed last year and is scheduled to open in 2021. Avani currently operates 24 hotels and resorts in 15 countries, with the brand recently debuting in Australia, New Zealand, and Laos. Avani currently has 15 new hotels in the pipeline, including a recent signing in Melbourne, Dubai, and a third property in Bangkok.
