Avani Hotels expands Thai portfolio
Avani Hotels & Resorts has expanded its portfolio in Thailand with the launch of Avani+ Samui, an upscale resort situated by Taling Ngam Bay on Koh Samui’s southwest shore.
Designed as a seaside hideaway, Avani+ Samui comprises 25 guestrooms, 27 private pool villas and six beachfront pool villas. Each features nature-inspired interiors and ample lighting, while villas are surrounded by verdant gardens and boast a private swimming pool.
The food and beverage programme is made up of Kombi Van bar, serving cocktails and refreshing drinks, and Pantry at Avani, a grab-and-go outlet with snacks and light meals inspired by local island ingredients. There’s also a beachfront restaurant where diners can enjoy panoramic views whilst tucking in to Thai and international specialities that maintain Avani’s Honest Food concept.
Additional resort activities include beach yoga, paddle boarding and mountain biking, while AvaniSpa also offers several treatments and in-room services. Elsewhere, the hotel’s event spaces allow for personalised events from small gatherings to beach weddings.
“We are excited to confirm the Avani+ Samui opening, the second addition to our Avani+ portfolio, providing guests with our signature Avani+ experience for their beach getaway,” says Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels, owning company of Avani Hotels & Resorts. “An exclusive upscale resort offering all the Avani+ extras at one of the hottest island destinations in Thailand, Avani+ Samui also embraces an eco-friendly culture to help Samui maintain its natural beauty for future generations such as no plastic straws, bio-degradable materials and locally sourced ingredients.”
Avani currently operates 24 hotels and resorts in 15 countries. The brand recently debuted in Australia, New Zealand and Laos, and has 15 new hotels in the pipeline including recent signings in Dubai, Bangkok and Busan.
