Art’otel London Hoxton opens its doors

Art’otel London Hoxton has opened its doors, bringing a new fusion of art and hospitality to London’s Hoxton and Shoreditch neighbourhoods.

Designed by Squire & Partners, the new opening comprises 357 art-inspired guestrooms and suites, all with skyline views. Signature Artist D*Face takes centre stage in the concept and design of the hotel, which is Art’otel’s second opening in the UK, following the launch of its Battersea Power Station outpost. In collaboration with Eyal Shoan of interior design studio Digital Space, D*Face will feature works in all guestrooms and public spaces, curating everything from original large-scale sculptures and murals to bespoke details.

On the ground and first floor is The Brush, an all-day cafe, lounge and cocktail bar serving up European signature dishes and cocktails. A destination restaurant will launch later in the year on the 25th floor, with outdoor terraces offering a 360° panorama across the capital. A number of flexible event spaces will find home on the 24th floor, set to launch in the summer, while the hotel will also be home to a 60-seat auditorium.

The hotel’s leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room, while a gym will open on the 26th floor in the summer, alongside a spa with four treatment rooms.

The property features an immersive 135m² art gallery that plays host to exclusive works from D*Face, two original Banksy artworks, and a host of pieces from other local and emerging artists, as well as revolving curated exhibitions throughout the year.
