Arima Hotel opens in San Sebastian
Senso Group has launched Arima Hotel, a new project close to the Technology Park and the Basque Culinary Centre in San Sebastian’s Miramon Forest.
Interiors are timeless and welcoming, and feature panoramic views over the forest. The indoor-outdoor connection is emphasised by the aluminium slats of the façade, while exterior stone flooring is continued towards the lobby area.
In the lobby, two vertical steel elements were used to create a series of cosy spaces. The first volume is made in raw steel and integrates a fireplace, while at the same time serves to hide the access to the elevators, while the second in white marble is characterised by a stained oak bookcase. Facing the forest façade, cosy and versatile spaces were created with furniture pieces from Kettal, as well as decorative lamps and rugs.
Upstairs, guestrooms feature multifunction furniture pieces in addition to a black tinted glass volume, which houses the bathroom and closet. The glazing has a partial opacity and functions as a lamp to bring in natural light, while a number of strategically-position mirrors further enhance the views over the forest.
