25hours to open in Düsseldorf in 2018
Swedish design agency Stylt Trampoli has been chosen by hotel chain 25hours to create and realise a concept for its latest project, 25hours Düsseldorf.
The new hotel will open in the spring of 2018. Stylt Trampoli is the first design agency from outside Germany entrusted to create a hotel for the chain, which is widely admired for their creativity and innovation.
25hours Düsseldorf will be located in the Quartier Central, an area of Düsseldorf that is characterised by a rich French heritage. The hotel concept will be inspired by the mixture of German functionality and French finesse and will be the tallest building in the area (known as the Quartier Central). It has been given the working name ‘Das Tour’ or the tower.
Erik Nissen Johansen, Stylt’s founder and creative director, comments: “This is an incredibly exciting development for us.
“25hours has been at the top of our list of dream collaborations since forever – we feel that Stylt and 25hours is a real match made in heaven. Now that we finally get to realise that dream, we’re aiming to make sure that the result is something truly extraordinary.”
