Villeroy & Boch partners Hotel Krønasår
Villeroy & Boch has collaborated with Krønasår – The Museum-Hotel at Europa-Park in Rust to supply sanitaryware as well as custom-designed tableware for the restaurant and bar facilities.
Hotel Krønasår, set within an amusement park located between Strasbourg in France and Freiburg in Germany, comprises 276 guestrooms and 28 suites, while its restaurants and cafés can seat around 1,500 people, and two function rooms can accommodate up to 260 guests. The hotel features museum-inspired interiors, with design details including history exhibits, display cabinets with discovered objects and ceiling-high book shelves.
Upstairs in the guestrooms and suites, the bathrooms are fitted out with more than 1,000 pieces of sanitaryware from Villeroy & Boch, including 400 Loop & Friends built-in washbasins, 30 Loop & Friends baths, more than 300 Memento hand-rinse washbasins and 370 wall-mounted toilets from the Architectura range. The selected products cater to different bathroom designs, with rectangular and oval built-in washbasins matching washing areas with a wood or stone look and allowing for single as well as double basin solutions. The rectangular Memento hand-rinse washbasins also provide practical ceramic storage despite their small size.
In the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant, Tre Krønen, as well as all-day destination Café Konditori, Villeroy & Boch provides premium bone porcelain in the form of its Scala and Stella tableware ranges, while the firm’s Hospitality Division also created a custom décor in line with the hotel.
