Umbrosa has launched its Spectra UX collection, comprising four unique models each based around a different concept.

Made from beautiful colours, fabrics and materials, the umbrellas combine aesthetics with functionality and ergonomics, contributing to the look and feel of any outdoor setting.

Created thanks to a collaboration between several designers, stylists and creative minds, the collection’s first model was introduced at Salone del Mobile in 2019.

With the feedback received here, the brand went on to create the complete, resulting collection.

Spectra UX Architecture

The Architecture parasol is neutral and sleek. Umbrosa played with the recurring design of square shapes to find a perfect match with clean and modern environments.

The umbrella makes a statement with as few different elements and materials as possible.

Spectra UX Nature

This parasol has been designed to connect one with nature. The combination of the ‘linnen’ Sunbrella fabric with the green frame and wooden base plate creates a calming feel.

Based on recurring earthy tones and wooden textures, it fits perfectly into unspoiled green environments.

Spectra UX Culture

The Culture umbrella, with its brownish red and pink shades, is the most colourful in the collection.

By extending the form of the base’s rounded corners to the canvas, and reusing the fabric of the canvas around the base, Umbrosa has created both a sense of simplicity and playfulness.

This allows the parasol to suit different locations, from a rooftop bar to a down-to-earth resort.

Spectra UX Marine

Marine takes its inspiration from the sea and waves. Designers played with two pieces of fabric, where the lower one shows the lightness and softness of waves with their white foam heads.

The use of a soft transparent fabric creates a subtle presence, whilst the typical white-blue colours reinforce this.

The brushed and polished accents add a sense of luxury and allude to the reflection of the sun on water.
