Toto launches two new self-cleaning washlets
Toto has launched two self-cleaning washlets as part of the Neorest collection, designed to actively fight bacteria, waste and limescale.
Available in two versions – the Neorest AC (Actilight) and Neorest EW (ewater+), both have the same look and actively attack bacteria and waste. Neorest EW sprays the toilet bowl with electrolysed, antibacterial water that prevents waste from accumulating, whereas the Neorest AC Washlet features a toilet bowl coated with a zirconium coating. The hydrophilic properties or the coating ensure that waste and bacteria are effectively eliminated.
The UV light integrated into the lid combines with the zirconium coating to trigger a decomposition process, making toilet brushing unnecessary. The Neorest Washlets also have a number of other features, such as sensor-based lid that opens and closes automatically, heated seat, deodoriser and a dryer that can be activated as desired. A remote control makes all of the technology easy and convenient to use.
The products in the Neorest Series are geared towards turning everyday experiences into pleasure through pioneering use of technology, and by adhering to the highest standards of design. The design concept of the Neorest Series/SE is about integration, with advanced technologies incorporated but hardly visible to the naked eye. The products include whirlpool bathtubs, washbasin, shower, hand dryer, mirror and cabinets. Toto also produce a range of matching bathroom accessories.
