The Penta Light Group is expanding further to incorporate Castaldi, a historic Italian company specialising in high-end indoor and outdoor technical lighting.

This move confirms the Group’s desire to be the point of reference for complex lighting projects, capable of providing a 360 degree offer in the world of lighting – from the design and contemporaneity of Penta, to the great names of Arredoluce and now the technical lighting of Castaldi.

“Castaldi represents an extraodinary opportunity for the Penta Group to further broaden its boundaries in the high-end technical expertise in this field,” says Andrea Citterio, CEO of Penta Group. “Since 1938, when Castaldi was founded by Mr Enrico Castaldi, the company has always excellently expressed the perfect combination of innovation, product quality, and design, typical of Made in Italy.

“Over the years Castladi has collaborated with the most important International architectural firms and completed major projects of global importance such as the Abu Dhabi airport and the prestigious Cleveland Clinic.”

With high ambitions, Penta Group has plans to renew and relaunch Castaldi, with the explicit goal to bring the brand to be a reference point for the world of high-end technical lighting in Italy and around the world.

“The goal is to double Castaldi’s turnover in the next three years,” continues Citterio. “The growth strategy includes, first of all, taking full advantage of the Group’s synergies, an important restyling of both image and product and the strengthening and consolidation of its position in international markets, respecting the tradition and values of the company.”

In addition to Castaldi, the Penta Light Group includes Penta – a company specialising in contemporary decorative design; and Arredoluce – a historic company founded in Monza in 1943 with a focus on the high-end sector.
