Sonneman introduces Suspenders
Sonneman – A Way of Light, has launched a new and exciting range in contemporary lighting, Suspenders.
Displaying revolutionary advances in LED technology, Suspenders incorporates a delicately scaled, modular system of interconnected elements and suspended luminous components.
Inspired by founder Robert Sonneman’s original 1980’s patent, Suspenders is truly a technology-enabled design.
Sonneman’s vision of an illuminating system that can be configured through length, width and depth has been made possible through the innovation of electrical components. Freed from the restrictions of the heavy electrical system components of the past, Sonneman has conceptualised a vast new range and scope of possibilities using an electronic approach to illumination.
Comprised of three main components: a power bar, hangers and luminaries, the system can be configured as individual lighting sculptures or as a tiered web of infinite scope and variety.
Sonneman – A Way of Light was founded in 2003 and forms a tribute to contemporary lighting design, conceptualised from the creative mind of Robert Sonneman. From the late 1960’s, his work has pioneered modern lighting. Sonneman’s work enjoys world-renowned status and emphasises clean lines as well as an alliance to form and function. For over four decades, Sonneman’s award-winning pieces have been at the forefront of design.
