Paola Lenti launches Uptown

Paola Lenti returned to Milan Design Week with a number of new launches, including the modular Uptown sofa designed by Francesco Rota.

Composed of left and right, linear or shaped sectional elements, chaise longue and pouf, Uptown has a steel structure that is padded with cold injected polyurethane. Meanwhile, the removable upholstery cover is available in the fabrics Blend, Dots or the new Pliqué, all signature Paola Lenti fabrics.

Also designed by Francesco Rota is the Shito chaise longue. The fixed structural cover is hand-woven with Chain Outdoor tubular knit, while the visible base is available in natural brass, natural copper or stainless steel with a special galvanic treatment made exclusively by De Castelli

The pieces presented in this edition are designed to stand the test of time. The poise of the forms is not subjected to the whims of fashion, since extreme care for each detail has made each item unique and timeless, destined for homes where it is possible to implement the process of stratification, a true hallmark of contemporary living.
