Northern Lights unveils rebrand alongside new collections
Northern Lights has announced a comprehensive rebrand as part of its strategic growth initiative.
The company has also unveiled a new website, investment into new machinery and a new lighting collection aimed at the international hospitality market.
The rebrand aims to retain Northern Lights’ rich heritage and British craftsmanship while embracing new values and celebrating a passion for exquisite lighting. “We undertook an extensive project that went deeper than simply refreshing our logo,” says Donna Bruce, Managing Director. “It marks a period of transitional growth, bold expansion and realigning of our values. By uniting all our transformation efforts under a single compelling vision, we’re driving innovation and sustainability adoption, mobilising our team, reshaping the product and service lineup to seize great opportunities, and reconnecting with customers in a meaningful way.”
A complete website redesign meanwhile mirrors the brand’s refined vision and market positioning, combining design with enhanced functionality to provide a smooth digital experience. In addition to discovering their bespoke services and project portfolio, the website makes it easy to specify Northern Lights’ extensive lighting collections – new features offer enhanced product filtering and search, and the ability to add products to quotes and request finish samples in a few clicks. Additionally, by creating an online trade account, trade partners can login to view trade prices and place orders online.
The brand has also launched twelve new contemporary collections, developed specifically for the hospitality market with especially durable materials. Metalwork is enhanced with hand-applied finishes, from matte black to azure blues, accented with brushed brass details. A range of elegant, understated shades include opal and reeded glass, metal domes, moulded acrylic and soft oyster fabrics. From sleek, simple lines paired with curved metal shades in the minimalist Axl collection, to the rich blues of the Novara, with its ‘floating’ glass globes, the designs can elevate hospitality interiors whilst delivering on durability.
The company has also further invested in new machinery that allows for greater precision, improved manufacturing efficiencies and enhanced capacity. Bruce concludes: “Our future growth plans are ambitious. We’re not afraid to challenge and be bold, to ensure Northern Lights constantly push boundaries and exceed expectations. Our industry is built on relationships, and I am confident that our clients will value the efforts we have invested. Our revitalised branding, refreshed website, and refined lighting collections exemplify this commitment, and have been developed with our clients’ needs at the forefront.”
