Nature Squared launches Elements
Nature Squared has unveiled its debut furniture range – the Elements collection. Comprising two mirrors, two console tables, two coffee tables and a side table, the series marries natural materials with the luxury of bespoke, artisan furniture.
Focusing on consciously sourced, handcrafted surfaces, Elements uses sleek lines and understated designs to create pieces that are at once classic, contemporary and sustainable. Available in 29 finish options crafted from a range of materials, the collection highlights nature’s innate beauty through traditional production methods.
The brand sources Hatchet Shell from local fishermen, before hand cutting the shells and inlaying them into coloured resin to produce Gaya and Jupiter patterns in three colours – Black, Ivory and Burgundy.
Meanwhile, the barks and grasses of mandarin bamboo are dried in the sun, hand cleaned and cut before being inlaid in resin. The process results in two patterns, Vertical and Horizontal, both of which can be finished in four colours include grey, white, burgundy and black, as well as the brand’s Sunburst design in dark and light.
Using traditional Asian methods, Nature Squared also applies and polishes eggshell and lacquer by hand to create a unique, snakeskin effect. The resulting Sapphire Blue, White, Burgundy, and Black options are available in an original or a variegated pattern.
Finally, molluscs are collected and cleaned, and left unsealed to showcase their naturally pearlescent qualities. Enhanced through cracking and cutting, the shells produce five Callisto finishes in white, burgundy, blue, and black, as well as gold yellow.
