Nanimarquina has collaborated with Barcelona-based artist Santi Moix to present the Flora collection.

The range comprises three different modes – Backyard, Promenade and Bloom – all of which capture the beauty of Moix’s flowers.

Each canvas is made using a high-quality hand-tufted technique that allows for expert detailing, and the designs explore the parallelism between life and death through biomorphic flowers.

Moix’s use of colour goes beyond merely decorative purposes, and enhances certain details of the intermediate processes in flowers, such as the moments before their blooming, their explosion of colour, or their decay.

“Flowers possess a great capacity to unite people,” comments Moix. “They have a beginning and an end; they are very democratic. I like to represent them in all their phases, from an initial explosion to the fragility, because each moment, as in life, portrays beauty and importance.”

Similar to Nanimarquina’s Chillida and Mélange by Subtle collections, Flora is an exercise that continues to show the brand’s support of culture and art.
