MK USB Integrated Socket
MK Electric, a wiring accessories manufacturer, has integrated a USB module into a standard twin socket.
The MK USB Integrated Socket allows four devices to be charged at the same time: two plugs, two USBs, which is useful with the growing requirement for hotels to provide stations at which our mobile devices can be charged.
Incorporating the USB modules into the standard plug socket allows businesses to integrate USB charging functionality into their existing power points.
Another innovation is the advent of dynamic device recognition (DDR).
If multiple devices are charging in one integrated socket, DDR has the intelligence to decipher, based on the make and manufacturer of a device, the specific charging requirements to power each device accordingly.
This makes charging more efficient and specific to the device.
