Loewe Reference 4K Ultra HD TV
German manufacturer Loewe has introduced their newest television model Reference.
Loewe’s design is a new reference point for TV performance and design. It has an aluminum surround that frames the glass, which comes in four different colours; aluminum black, aluminum silver, high-gloss white and dark gold, while further colour options are available via interchangeable fabric speaker covers, with high acoustic permeability to ensure undistorted sound.
The 4K Ultra HD TV has an anti-reflective, high-contrast glass filter panel to enhance the image quality whilst keeping the picture natural. Interfaces, such as HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 and HEVC, make the most of the ultra-high resolution content from external sources, while Loewe’s advanced super-scaling technology provides a significantly enhanced viewing experience with SD and HD, plus Activeshutter 3D technology.
Developed in partnership with SOEN – a world-leader in high-performance compact audio solutions – the eight-speaker integrated sound system with 120W amplification enables fantastic sound. The TV set comes with a high-performance soundbar built in to its chassis, which delivers impressive virtual 3D surround sound, coupled with the built-in Dolby/DTS decoder, allowing a cinema-like setting. Plus the soundbar can act as a centre speaker in a 5.1 set up.
The built-in 1TB hard drive allows for the recording and archiving of programmes, while the DR+ hard drive also acts as a video server that can be accessed by other Loewe sets, which is called DR+ Streaming. Loewe Mobile Recording and the Loewe Smart Assist app allow you to schedule recordings, plus the Smart tv2move app turns your tablet into a second television at the touch of a button.
Reference is a fully integrated entertainment media hub with the ability to share content with other Loewe TVs, wireless networking, Bluetooth audio streaming and DLNA connectivity. Due to its connectivity, the entire system can be operated using a single remote control. The fully customisable home screen allows quick access to the content you use most often.
Each Reference TV is complemented by a choice of elegant set-up solutions, from a wall-mount or premium-quality tabletop stand to a motorised rotating floor stand, as well as various exclusive rack systems with sufficient storage to accommodate a subwoofer, Blu-ray player or media player.
The Loewe Reference 4K Ultra HD TV is available in a 55in screen size from June. This will be joined by supersized 85in and 75in screen options in August and September respectively.
