Lasvit presents Via Lucis installation

Czech lighting manufacturer Lasvit has announced a new installation that promises a unique journey through contemporary projects enhanced by the experience and skill of master glassmakers.

Set to be unveiled at Salone in Milan, the presentation will take place at the Sale Napoleoniche of Palazzo Serbelloni, where Napoleone Bonaparte resided during his stay in the city. The precious Bohemian crystal chandeliers created for him will find their ancient splendor once again, as Lasvit unveils its careful restoration.

Designs by Moritz Waldemeyer, Andre Fu and Maurizio Galante, sit alongside Czech legends and young designers, who will interpret the Neoclassical taste of chandeliers with a contemporary twist by combining Czech glassmakers’ artisanal know-how and craftsmanship.

Renowned designers including Daniel Libeskind, the Campana Brothers and Arik Levy have renewed their collaboration with Lasvit. One of the highlights will be Moritz Waldemeyer‘s Facet, taking the geometrical shape of the classic chandelier and turns it into a diamond-like hexagonal glass building block.
