Karndean Designflooring presents LooseLay Series Two at Clerkenwell Design Week 2014

Following the successful launch of Karndean LooseLay in 2013, the new format of luxury flooring sees the addition of six new on-trend wood tones, two stone designs and two unique textile tiles.

Inspired by natural materials, Karndean’s new wood designs reflect the trend for delicate oak, worn wood and distressed patterns, and feature cool, soft white hues, as well as warm, dark chocolate tones. The light tonal greys and contrasting warm, dark brown hues of the new slate-inspired stone designs Georgia and Texas, are designed for both traditional and contemporary interiors.

New for 2014, Series Two introduces the company’s first textile stone designs Pennsylvania and Nevada, in a modern linear pattern that can be applied in a variety of environments for a distinctive or modern look.

The collection offers enhanced acoustic properties, unique friction grip backing and increased dimensional stability, require little or no adhesive. The large-scale planks and tiles also reduce installation time and costs.

“Since the launch of our Karndean LooseLay, we’ve seen a real appetite for our quick to install stylish LVT designs amongst architects and interior designers,” commented Paul Barratt, Managing Director of Karndean Designflooring.

“This collection is proving a highly durable and attractive option for commercial spaces where carpet tiles, click or laminate would have previously been specified for access to under floor services and raised access floors. The possibilities with this product really are endless,” concluded Barratt.
