Janus et Cie launches Konos series

Janus et Cie has launched Konos, a series of lounge and dining pieces inspired by the hills of Santorini. Made up of a lounge chair, ottoman and chaise lounge, as well as a sofa in two or three seat options, the collection comprises all-teak frames and exaggerated tapering details that create a warm architectural design.

Konos, named for the conical motif seen throughout the collection, features frames made from sustainably grown premium teak and hand buffed to achieve a light sheen, whilst an accompanying Vertex mesh made from acrylic yarns and natural hemp is available in Quartzite or Thassos White finishes.

“There’s a reason Konos is part of our Janus et Cie Masterpiece series,” comments Janice Feldman, founder of Janus et Cie. “It’s amazing how such furniture can exist, true beauty of form and unparalleled function. I’m particularly proud of Vertex, which echoes our DNA: nature and technology woven as one.”

A new shade of Januscoat, Titanium Matte Metallic, has also been developed for the powder-coated stainless steel frame end caps, while cushions are available in more than 200 textiles with baseball stitch or Janustack accents.
