Janus et Cie hosting design masterclasses for global student competition
Janus et Cie has announced that it will present a series of six master classes as a key component of its Global Student Design Competition.
The webinars feature an array of industry experts, including Sebastian Herkner of Studio Sebastian Herkner; Dan Rubinstein, founder and host of The Grand Tourist podcast and former design editor; Sebastian Salvadó and Jenny Myers from RIOS; Adam Stover and Alex Ogata from Populous; Carolina Zhang, VP of Product Design & Development at Janus et Cie; and Christopher Locke, co-founder of Designing in Color.
These sessions, curated to elevate design education and proficiency, offer students unparalleled access to industry-leading insights and expertise. The interactive webinar format of the masterclasses meanwhile has been chosen to ensure inclusivity, allowing all design students to participate and benefit from speakers’ expertise.

The competition, open to junior- and senior-level design students globally, challenges participants to conceptualize versatile products that foster placemaking. This year’s theme emphasises the dynamic interplay of design elements in creating spaces for dialogue and community.
