Janus et Cie has expanded its Knot collection with the addition of a two-seat and three-seat sofa. Designed using the macramé technique of a modified reef knot, the result is a patterned, bucket-shaped seat crafted from handwoven olefin rope within a durable, lightweight aluminium frame, paired with a seat cushion and back pillow.

The new pieces can be matched with a complementary ottoman, side table and cocktail table, with each featuring a slightly more angular pattern to their weave and offered in two new shades of Fossil and Shale.

“Knot is an eclectic ensemble. The seating pairs wonderfully with many of our dining tables that come in a variety of materials like teak or metal,” says Janice Feldman, founder and CEO of Janus et Cie. “Blending Knot with other products allows one to bring a unique design influence to their space.”
