Ideal Standard launches sustainable shower system
Ideal Standard has previewed its latest showering range Alu+, set to launch in June 2023. The new collection stands out with its modern colour palette and sustainability credentials, offering a contemporary shower solution for modern living.
The shower systems see elegant rectangular lines accented by the circular mixer, showerhead and hand spray, while the design is complimented by the option of three low-sheen finishes – Silk Black, Rosé and Silver – maximising personalisation and versatility.
With sustainability at the forefront of design, the new shower system from Ideal Standard is created from high-quality aluminium, made up of 84% recycled material. Completely free from chrome, lead and nickel, Alu+ also uses water-saving technology, which is built into the entire range. The system’s flow limiters restrict consumption to just 8 litres per minute for the hand spray, and 12 litres per minute for the rain shower, without impacting performance. Meanwhile, all of the plastic elements of Alu+ are made from high performance, drinking water-compliant polymers, to ensure water is not polluted with harmful plastics.
