Grohe BestMatch planning tool to expand internationally

Grohe has announced international expansion for online configurator BestMatch.

The purpose of Grohe BestMatch is to combine faucets and washbasins. This means that their forms and shapes match aesthetically, that the length and height of the spout leaves sufficient room for comfortable use and no water is splashed when washing hands or opening the faucet. With BestMatch, installers, planners, architects, showroom staff and consumers can find the ideal product combination.

Building on the successful launch of the website and app in Germany, Grohe has tested numerous other potential combinations in its lab in order to make the service available to international customers. These tests also covered products from local washbasin manufacturers in the respective markets and as a result, the Grohe database now comprises the results from some 3,000 trial combinations.

In order to present a comprehensive selection of possible combinations while at the same time facilitating the search for the perfect pairing, Grohe continues to test new combinations. The team performed real-life tests combining various Grohe faucet lines with washbasins from brands such as Alape, Burgbad, Duravit, Keramag, Laufen and Villeroy & Boch. Most recently, washbasins from Ifö, Laufen and Catalano were added for Denmark, Sphinx for the Benelux countries and Allia for France.

The interest in the online configurator in Germany and positive responses received from the trade confirm the added value provided by this modern bathroom-planning tool. In response to this feedback, Grohe has already introduced numerous other language versions including Danish, Dutch, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Czech and Slovakian, with other markets set to follow. By including washbasins that are typical of the individual local markets, Grohe caters to the specific needs of users in different countries and ensures that locally available combinations are shown in the search results.
