Gandiablasco has unveiled its collaboration with Søren Rose for the Capa outdoor furniture collection.
Designed to create an intimate and welcoming outdoor experience, the range brings the essence of Scandinavian design to the brand, boasting a minimalist feel that combines a functional sense, aesthetic sensitivity and sustainability. Between Copenhagen and New York, the designer skilfully combines opposites to create results that are as simple and serene as they are refined and elegant.
“I have entered the universe of Gandiablasco with a proposal that evokes the Danish concept ‘hygge’, a philosophy of life that encourages one to enjoy simple and relaxed plans with people we appreciate,” explains Rose.
The collection comprises seats and tables with a thermo-lacquered aluminium structure that is combined with a shaped aluminium plate with simple bars and curved edges. The tables, in turn, feature multiple finishes and surfaces in the innovative material Dekton by Cosentino.
“We have made very clean designs that users can customise by choosing the fabric and surface finishes,” Rose adds.
“Everything comes down to quality and details,” Rose finishes. “Taking care of these two factors to the extreme allows us to achieve pieces with which we want to live; that endure and acquire meaning over time.”
