Faro Barcelona has launched its Cadaqués light, designed for outdoor spaces.
The product pays homage to the Mediterranean essence of the eponymous Costa Brava village, and its design offers a new type of portable outdoor lamp that may also be used as a space divider.
Inspired by sun loungers, its triangular structure emits a graduated warm light which is projected between both shades, and its easel-shaped aluminium structure allows for multiple units to be stacked together for convenient storage.
Strong and durable, the shade is made from Vertisol textile – a special fabric for outdoor use with an International Maritime Organisation certification. The product also comes with a protection rating of LP65 against solid and liquid substances.
With this durability and resistance, the light is ideal for outdoor spaces, particularly those exposed to high levels of salinity, wind and rain.
Cadaqués also incorporates low consumption LED technology making it cost efficient and more environmentally friendly than traditional lighting.
