Falmec launches Bellaria tabletop system
Falmec has collaborated with Venetian designer Marco Zito to create Bellaria, a tabletop air purification system.
Restoring an optimal balance of ions through the brand’s patented E.ion function, the system produces negative ions to purify and treat the surrounding air, helping to reduce polluting agents such as bacteria, viruses, dust mites, pollen, spores, odours and cigarette smoke.
With most airborne particles having a positive charge, the system’s negative ions attach to floating particles in large numbers. As a result, the particles fall from the air, ready to be collected by standard cleaning activities like vacuuming.
The design of the system incorporates the historic art of glassblowing, more specifically an artisan method unique to the island of Murano in Venice.
